मुझसे जाने क्या ये ज़िन्दगी चाहती है, हर मोड़ पर एक नया इम्तेहान लाती है, कभी इस नादान दिल को रुलाती है, कभी इस नादान दिल को जलाती है, मुझसे जाने क्या ये ज़िन्दगी चाहती है, इस दिल के करीब हर इंसान को सताती है, इस दिल की क्या खता जो तू मुझसे रूठ जाती है, पर एक लम्हा ऐसा भी आता है जब ये तुझे मानती है, मुझसे जाने क्या ये ज़िन्दगी चाहती है, मुझे हर लम्हा हर पल तेरी याद आती है, पर ना जाने क्यूँ तू मुझे ही गुनेहगार बताती है, ये सोच कर ही मेरी आँखें भर आती हैं, मुझसे जाने क्या ये ज़िन्दगी चाहती है, ना जाने यादें याद क्यों रह जाती हैं, कभी हसती हैं तो कभी रुलाती हैं, ज़िन्दगी की यही रीत है चलती जाती है, मुझसे जाने क्या ये ज़िन्दगी चाहती है, तनहा है सफ़र एक हमसफ़र चाहती है, न करो मोहब्बत तो ज़िन्दगी सूनी लगती है, करो जो मोहब्बत तो मुश्किलें राह सजाती हैं, मुझसे जाने क्या ये ज़िन्दगी चाहती है, यारों की यारी ना जाने क्या क्या कराती है, भूल जाते हैं गम खुशियाँ ही याद आती हैं, कुछ गलतियाँ कुछ शरारत नज़र आती हैं, ऐसी यादें होंठों पे मुस्कुराहट छोड़ जाती हैं, मुझसे जाने क्या ये ज़िन
